The Kabacan Water District celebrated its 44 years of dedicated service to the people of Kabacan on October 15, 2024.

True to its commitment to deliver continuous, adequate, and potable water and provide sanitation services at a reasonable cost, KWD is also committed to relentlessly improving its services through creative and innovative practices, stakeholder collaboration, and dynamic environmental stewardship.

The celebration with the theme “44 Years of Innovating Water Service for a Secure Future” was attended by the KWD employees, the management, the Board of Directors, retirees, and other guests.

During the occasion, four KWD employees, Marlon H. Sebastian (20 years of service), Nelvin N. Seplon (15 years), Cherry Mae P. De La Cruz (15 years), and Gideon Love C. Caballero (10 years), were recognized for their loyal services to the District. They each received a plaque, token, and cash award.

In his speech, the Hon. Vice Mayor of Kabacan, Herlo P. Guzman, Jr., expressed his appreciation to the KWD as one of the loyal partners of the LGU Kabacan. He also mentioned how KWD successfully rose from how it was before and became what it is today. Vice Mayor Guzman also stressed that with the Hon. Kabacan Mayor Evangeline P. Guzman’s leadership, LGU Kabacan is willing to help the District with its plans and programs for the people of Kabacan.

KWD is now in its 44th year, and no matter the cost, it will never stop innovating for a secure future in Kabacan!
